Beyond the Bend

An independent, evidence-led record of Ireland's archaeological landscapes, beginning in Donegal.

Beyond the Bend combines structured archaeological records with original drone imagery, mapping, historical sources, folklore and astronomical analysis. Its aim is to help people look again at landscapes they may already know, and to show — for every claim — where it comes from.

It does not replace the national record or published scholarship; it points to them. Where we add our own observations or calculations, they are labelled as ours, with their methods.
