Making mistakes easy to fix

A reference resource is only as good as its willingness to be corrected.

Every record has a “Report an error” button. Reports go to an editor, who checks them against sources. Accepted corrections are made as new revisions, so the history of a record is preserved. Significant corrections are noted on the record.

Local knowledge is welcome — another name for a place, a monument you remember that has gone, a photograph. Please say how you know.
