County Donegal
Donegal holds one of the densest concentrations of prehistoric monuments in the north-west of Ireland: court and portal tombs along the western coast, stone circles and cairns in the eastern lowlands around Raphoe, and the great stone fort of Grianán of Aileach above Lough Swilly. It is where Beyond the Bend begins.
